Hands
At Melanie Massey Physical Therapy, we are able to provide exceptional hand therapy because we have a Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) on staff. Amy Colvin, LOTR, CHT has been practicing for 17 years which backs up her extensive knowledge of the hand and upper extremity. She also attends continuing education courses with the International Academy of Orthopaedic Medicine which is an organization that researches and promotes the most effective and up-to- date treatment options available.
Treatment of the hand requires very specialized knowledge and clinical experience from the simplest of diagnoses such as Carpal Tunnel Syndrome to a devasting loss of a finger. Hand diagnoses are as follows but are not limited to:

Arterial Compromise
