Melanie Massey Physical Therapy was established in 1995. We feel this is a unique clinic with an outstanding staff. Each person brings to the team his or her own talents and personalities. We provide a team approach employing physical therapists, occupational therapists, and speech pathologists. This allows collaboration between disciplines that is not typically found in outpatient facilities.
Our staff is careful to review patients regularly to update goals and ensure progress, as well as discuss ideas to enhance each others' treatment sessions. We offer generous continuing education to our therapists and feel this provides Northeast Louisiana with the most up-to-date and innovative treatment available.
It is extremely important to us that our children experience normalcy in childhood activities. We, as a staff, feel that it is a calling to work with people with disabilities. We enjoy the "extra mile" required to make every patient feel welcome and valued. Almost without fail, we hear reports from parents regarding how much the child looks forward to therapy and how his/her esteem has grown simply from being a part of this clinic.

U.S. Commerce Association's Award Plaque Honors the Achievement
WASHINGTON D.C., June 8, 2009 -- Melanie Massey Physical Therapy has been selected for the 2009 Best of West Monroe Award in the Health Practitioners category by the U.S. Commerce Association (USCA).
The USCA "Best of Local Business" Award Program recognizes outstanding local businesses throughout the country. Each year, the USCA identifies companies that they believe have achieved exceptional marketing success in their local community and business category.
