1 month old:
I enjoy and need a lot of touching, cuddling, talking, and singing.
I cry often, but I quit when you pick me up.
The world is new to me. I am overwhelmed by the lights and noises. Please keep me nestled in close.
I keep my head turned to one side while on my back.
I respond to sounds by turning my head toward the sound and moving my body.
I like to stay in a balled position when on my belly with my arms and legs tucked in.
I can push through my legs when put in a standing position.
I can’t focus my eyes very well yet.
I can suck, swallow and breathe with good rhythm and without a struggle.
